Thank you for taking the time to read through the website. Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Jody and I live in Kitchener, Ontario. I first fell in love with the ragdoll breed back in 2005 when I got my very first ragdoll. Once you own a ragdoll, you’re pretty much ruined for all other breeds.. At least I was! I always say, they’re in a league of their own and anyone who has ever owned one would certainly agree.
Ragdoll Empire was established in 2020 (it started as RagdollyJJ which I ran with my sister until 2025) I decided to return in 2026 with a new name since I will be on my own now. This cattery was established for two very important reasons: 1) To maintain and honour the integrity of the breed and 2) To be a safe place for people to get their kittens from. I know what it’s like to be neglected by a breeder once they have your money and I promise you, that’ll never be me. By supporting ethical breeders, you are not only ensuring that your hard earned money is being spent on a kitten who is healthy, well socialized and genetically clear of all testable conditions, but you are helping to put an end to unethical, backyard breeders. My promise to you is to always be here, no matter how small the issue seems, what time of day it is or what you need, I will always do my best to support and help anyone I can. I am very passionate about what I do and take the responsibility of being an ethical ragdoll breeder very seriously. I understand that how I raise and socialize these kittens will help determine what kind of cat they become. The health of my kittens and cats comes before all else and I pride myself on the research I have done to ensure that when you get a kitten from me you can feel 100% confident that I have done everything in my power to make sure you receive a healthy, well socialized, quality ragdoll kitten. All of our cats and kittens are raised with us in a cageless environment, they live with us, underfoot as members of our family. All of our breeders are:

Ragdoll empire is a closed cattery. We do not allow any outside visitors inside our home. We have females in various stages of pregnancy and kittens with vulnerable immune systems. Kitten pick up will be in a public location for everyone’s safety.
Our cattery practices pediatric spay and neuter surgeries. This means that we have our kittens spayed/neutered before they leave our home. This is for their well being as well as yours. Please visit our FAQ for more details.
I fell in love with the ragdoll breed a long time ago and as a breeder one of my top priorities is to represent the breed proudly and make sure when you see our cats and kittens you recognize them as the breed you fell in love with as well.
